God Absolutely Wants You To Win

Some seem to think that God so easily allows us to fall into the path of destruction. Since they do not know Him, they assume the worst. To know God is to love Him, but if you do not know God, even something as simple and pure as love is not in you because Love is God, just as God IS love. They are interchangeable. Through the core, God is love, through and through. It was the same God that made us to love. Therefore, it is not His hope that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance and He would save them from eternal destruction.

The truth is that God wants us to win. He wants us to come to repentance so He may cleanse you of all unrighteousness, thereby saving you from the eternal destruction awaiting you should you remain outside of Him in a wicked world where you cannot win. You aren’t helpless because He loved you when He made you as one of His precious commodities. All are precious to Him, but not all will choose Him nor return to Him by their willful choice.

Unbelievers would say God should make it easier for people to come back unto Him from such a godforsaken world. The power of sin and evil is so strong that it compels us who are weak to sin against God. True. True. True.

Sin and evil are that strong, but for free, God has given you a power that can live in you that is greater than the wicked power of this sinful world. If you call unto Him, humble yourselves, pray, and seek His face, then He will hear from heaven, come to you, and save you from all powers that beckon them. Therefore, once you humble yourselves and come to God, He empowers you with His power, and you are thereby brought into His presence where the power of evil has no lethal jurisdiction over you, with His power residing in you.

For those who want things to be easier, if they do not think God is worth the effort of fighting for, then they are not worthy of Him. If they want God to do everything and yet they make no effort or commitment towards God, they are not worthy of Him. Since He loves you that much, He will allow you to pull yourself away from Him by choosing to remain on your own, using your own willpower, knowing it is not enough, but yet, it is by your choices that He responds.

When you choose God, He comes to you and saves you. If you do not choose God, He respects your willful choice and allows you to remain as you desire. It could not be simpler than that. It is by one’s choice, either for or against God, that you are given the opportunity and privilege to be saved from eternal destruction. God really wants you to win.

“For God so loved the world that He gave the world His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He that believes on Him is not condemned: but he that believes not is condemned already because he has not believed in the only Begotten Son of God.” John 3:16–18.

This is what God has already done for everyone alike through His Son. Accept His offer, and you shall be saved. Reject it, and you shall not be saved. How simple is that? God so dearly wants us all to win the battle. He has already won the war.
