The Spirit that Lives In Me Shall Live Forever

As the Psalmist says: “Do not fret because of those who are evil or be envious of those who do wrong; for like the grass they will soon wither, like green plants they will soon die away. Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun. Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes.” Psalms 37

One day, we will be here no more, but the Spirit that inhabits these bodies shall last forever. Our bodies are but flashing lights passing through time eternal. They are but a vessel that you may ride through time. Your true self is a Spirit that God placed in this carnal body. It awaits your awakening so it may go about doing the Father’s business as a member of His glorious body.

My greatest fear is, when my time expires on earth, would I have said or done enough to achieve my godly assignment during my time in this place? Did I encourage my fellow sojourners to seek God? Did I share the messages the Father gave me to share? Did I touch the heart of a single soul and encourage them to call out… Abba, Father, Lord, and Creator? Did I finish the task that was given to me by the Father?

The Lord says, Fear Not! As long as you do what the Father asks of you, the rest of the puzzle is no longer in your hands. It is the Father who draws His own near at the appointed time; He knew they were ripened for the harvest.

Beyond these mortal eyes and ears, the Spirit is all-knowing. His divine will reigns supreme over all that was made. Without Him, nothing was made that has been made outside of His knowing. God’s will extends beyond knowledge, logic, or reasoning. His Word formed creation with a simple command, “Let There Be!” Everything became as He commanded it.

Eyes cannot see nor ears hear what God has already done. But the heart can sense the presence of the Almighty and come to Him as He beckons them.

So again I say… fear not all ye children of the Holy One! In all things, the Lord is in command. You will be long gone before many even knew you were here, walking beside them, breathing the same air. The Lord has already seen the mark you will leave behind? The world would have been made a better place if you had followed the Lord when He commanded you.

Human lives are but a flashing moment, barely leaving a trail in the hands of time. What you do with the life God has given you serves a function in His will. Not all choose to serve the body of God? Some wander through the darkness. The children of the light know who they are and who they belong to. They willingly step into His glorious light and achieve the crown He has prepared for them. They shall live in the house of the Lord forever and ever.

To Almighty God, the Holy One, I give all the honor and the glory forever and ever. Selah!
